What I enjoyed most about shooting with the 37mm T2.9 was the incredible quality of the  lens and rings, also because being fully manual, it offers a truly engaging and tactile experience. Surely what stands out the most is the distinctive optical distortion, which as a storyteller allows to add deep and emotional layers in any situation!

The 7artisans 35mm f/1.8 is incredibly easy to work with. It’s quite lightweight and compact, yet feels solid and well-built with its metal construction. It performs excellently in low light thanks to the f/1.8 aperture, all while keeping the images nice and sharp.
I was also pleased to find that the focusing system has minimal lens breathing, making it a great choice for both photography and video.
n short, I'd say: The 35mm f1.8 is a modern, reliable, and compact workhorse.

What really surprised me about the lens was just how much of a game changer 6mm is. The perspective is so unique and constantly exceeded my expectations. Standing in front of a scene and then seeing how it looks with a 220° FoV gave the whole photo-taking process a different flavor because it constantly forced me to think bigger, see more of the scene, and how to correctly utilize it. It made me really fall in love with the lens because it made me challenge myself to be more creative.

I’ve been enjoying the lens a lot. Since it’s so light and compact, it’s perfect for street photography and doesn’t make the camera feel bulky. The image quality is sharp even wide open, and it handles low light much better than I expected. Great value for an APS-C setup!
